Question on bottom metal

OK. I sent out my bolt last week for fluting and new knob, other than that I'm ready to bed the new rifle and then assemble it. But, before that there's one last thing. The rifle is, (was) a REM 700 LA
with the DBM. The stock I ordered would not accept the clip. It almost fit, but, I was unwilling to whittle on the composite stock as I didn't know the thickness of the material at that particular area. So, finally arriving at the, "almost complete" point of the build I'm now forced to address this problem. So, I need suggestions for a complete bottom that will fit the 700. I don't need a 10 shot mag, just something that should fit and function properly. Thanks

What's a clip?

Clip's as in stripper clips go in the top of the action.
Links &/or Belts go in the top side also.
Magazines go in the bottom of the action.

Inlet the bottom metal & pillar bed to finish your build!

go to pt&g and take a look at their bottom metal. Thare is plenty to choose from.

Keep in mind that a Remington DBM action is different than an ADL or BDL and must use some type of detachable magazine. It will not feed with a standard BDL magazine box as it does not have feed rails. Most any aftermarket detachable magazine set up will work.
