Question for 338 Lapua Shooters on nodes.

Question is how far apart can you expect to see a node? Like for my 6.5 Creedmoor I can expect to see them about 1.3g apart up through the powder charge range. I just started reloading for the 338 Lapua and was wondering if there is a set distance in powder weight you might expect to see the next node, give or take. If it makes any difference I'm using Lapua brass, Retumbo, 285 Hornady ELDm, Federal 215m shooting out of a Savage 112 338 Lapua.

Using Lapua brass, Berger 300gr, N570 I tested up to 92gr (pressure) and found 2 nodes . . . 87.3gr and 90gr. Seems they are also about 3% apart.

Ok thank you Twoboxer, I think I'm seeing two nodes about that amount, 3g apart myself also. Next trip out to the range with more reloads in smaller increments will confirm it. Very interesting stuff. HB
