I currently use the Neco neck lube kit, ball bearings with moly powder on them) to lube my case necks prior to sizing them. I then use lantern fuel to remove the moly from the brass prior to seating.
I do this because I shoot bare bullets, and don't want to deal with the hassle of having moly in my barrel. My question is, if I leave the moly from the Neco kit on during seating, will it in effect "moly" my bullet or is the amount too minuscule to matter?
I know this is a dumb question, but I'm a newbie with moly and I don't want to have to mess with special cleaning procedures, or worry about my barrel attracting water, or corroding, etc
I'm just looking for something to help achieve consistent seating force. I currently use a K&M arbor press with force attachment, and the bare necks produce some inconsistent results.
