Question about Omega 2 speed trickler

When I start up the reloading process, the kernels come down the bottom of the tube, lined up like little soldiers and I have no problem dropping 1 kernel at a time. Very reliable and speedy.

After 5 to 10 rounds, the powder starts piling up in the tube and I can't reliably get individual kernels. I end up having to take kernels out and it doubles the time to reload a round.

I've played with the adjustments. But could maybe do more with guidance from those who have solved this.

Try not to overload hopper. I put about 30 grains in and use the high speed setting just to get the powder flowing. I think if you overload the hopper it puts too much powder in the tube. Once it starts coming out I only use the slow setting. Make sure the tube is level and not pointing downward. I usually tap the button rapidly instead of holding it down and the powder flows smoothly.

orentation of the tube and location of the sliding weight. don't be afraid to bend the tube a little if that is what it takes. get it set right and just bump the button and they will march like little soldiers right off the end of the tube fast or slow whatever you choose

i would move that weight back towards the hopper at least half way.

I put a piece of tape over hole to limit flow and kinda bent the end of the rod so the walls are more vertical to allow more single file kernels. Not perfect, but works acceptable.
