Question about 300 WSM Brass

300 WSM brass a bit hard to find in Australia at this time. Can 270 WSM brass be neck expanded to make 300 WSM? (new topic on behalf of a shooting buddy)

Also, if anyone has loaded 155 grain projectiles in their WSM, any feedback on performance, loads, velocity appreciated. He cannot shoot the heavies as the current barrel is a 1:12

Yes. The necks will be thinner which may be a problem on a SAAMI chamber. You will have a donut from the thicker shoulder being moved into the base of the neck. Anneal it first
