Long story made very short... I need to use Burris inserts to make my scope point the same direction as the barrel and not use up all the windage/elevation in said scope in the process. The problem is... this scope needs to come off and on some what regularly, preferably without any hassle or headaches. As it is right now, having to take the cross bolts out and put them back in is an aggravation, as is the tendency for the rings to hang up on anything and everything possible when sliding the scope forward off the rail. I much prefer conventional QD rings like Warne Tactical or Leupold QRW, where I loosen up a side plate and just tip the rings off the rail. No muss, no fuss.
Does *anyone* make rings like this that use the Burris inserts? I thought Burris used to, but I don't see them listed on their web sight.
TIA,
Monte
