Q? diff between 6.5-06 and 6.5-06 A square

I have been looking around and see both A-Square 6.5-06 and 6.5-06 listed. I have seen reloading dies and reamers for both are these different because I can not find a dimension on the a-square. I know A-square allegedly legitimized the 6.5-06.

Why are they listed seperate?

Is the a-square based on an untrimmed .270 Win brass? I saw a 6.5-06 A-quare remaer and it looked to have a longer neck then 30-06/ 25-06 brass?

Does that mean you simply run 270 brass throught he a-squrae dies because they are set-up for 270 full length?

I have also read the A-square 6.5-06 brass has thicker necks then 25-06.

CAN someone shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance:confused:

From what I understand the 6.5-06 A-square is supposed to be the same demention as if you necked down the 30-06 case but they alowed a little longer neck in case sombody used 270 brass it would not crinp the neck down on the bullet and have a bad effect possibly blow up.

I'd like to have a loaded A-square round and mic it againset both the 270 rem and the 30-06 cases necked down and loaed just to make sure.
