Q about Athlon 4.5-27x50 Scope Price

I seem that is that common or is that a practice that wallmart usually don't do ? .... I am interested in this scope but you could imagine I don't want screwed. Is there anyone to call or check

You could call Walmart, this is common practice. The problem is they (Walmart) won’t back up 3rd party sells if it is a scam or defective. Only reason I know this is that it happened to my mother on some Christmas presents last year for my daughter

I think the low price is because the model you found is FFP but MOA. The PRS guys want FFP and MIL. And as others have observered, there is a Gen 2.

Thats not the same Thats a midas not a ares.

I bought one from Walmart on line and it is a fine scope. Chinese glass but the coatings are pretty good. Turrets repeat. Get a wheel for the parallax adjustment, it is stiff, Amazon. Just be aware it is FFP!

Seems like it could be legit. I seem some big discounts on the athlons for black friday. Don't remember them off hand. Think the 5-25 midas tac was in the 500s. I would totally get that if i needed a scope. I have a 4.5-27x50 ares btr gen 2. I bought it right when it came out. I like it. Yeah, my tract toric 4-20 is a little better glass, but i cant say anything else about it is better. I like the lower profile of the ares turrets.
