Puppypopper /NCPHA

Well what has become to be known as the North Carolina Predator Hunters Association,NCPHA) is a fourteen month project in the works . January of 05 I had 7 different yote cross within 500 yards of the house . So I stared doing research on them . I found the Predator Masters forum and started reading . I had seen where the other states either had predator and or varmint associations or had groups that would get together and go hunting. On the forum there was about 20 or so folks from NC . I through out the idea of getting together and going hunting . They through back, how about putting an association together . Being a part-time designer,I said cool I'll get to do another logo, I did not figure on the other guys falling off of the face of the earth .Guys meaning the other three that wanted to start this . I had already put together some meetings and did not want to back out .

So we have put together is a growing association of ethical hunters that enjoy hunting predators and varmints. I did an interview with Craig Holt of the North Carolina Sportsman magazine, when it hit the stands everything started taking off .

Let me give you some sites to look at . The first is the website and the second is our forum .

www.freewebs.com/ncpha, www.northcarolinapha.com

Check them out and let me know what you think . The website has our cover letter on it which explains more on what we are about .

Thank, Chuck T

Chuck,

We can hunt at night in GA, can you hunt at night in NC?

Great site, thanks fro the info...

I am really going to hit them hard in December and January..

How often do you get out? What is your success rate. I killed something....about one in 17 setups in 2006... Not to good. It is a tough damn sport..

We can't hunt at night, the coon hunters association has got that tied up, at least for now . The way the rules read they are tailored for the money groups in NC, coon and fox hunters .

That's where we will be coming in and try to change some of these stupid rules . Take coon hunting, you can only hunt them at night, with light add and dogs only . HMMM wonder who they were thing of when that one was wrote ? Foxes, it depends on where you live . The Wildlife commission has some screwed up crap . They tell me that the rules are for interpretation of the officers . You can read it one way and the officer can read it another and guess who wins ?

If, and when we get it passed so we can hunt at night, I'll let you know so you can buy stock in Night Blaster lights .
