Have had the opportunity to try the 30. For the price they are okay.
Strengths:
-quick intialization
-screen off, instant on feature
-photo, video
-compact size
-reasonable price
-recharable batteries
Weakness:
-LOTS of nuc-ing to keep screen clean
-must download app to see photos/vids
-relatively narrow field of view if scanning
-needs shuttered eye piece for predator hunting
Neutral:
-setup menu is reasonably intuitive, but like everything else, requires a bit of practice to navigate in the dark
