The question about getting instructions for the PT&G / Gre-Tan jig has been asked on several fourm for years.

From the hobby machinists forum:

I recently acquired a reamer stoning fixture (for chambering reamers) at an extremely reasonable price. There are no instructions. I called the manufacturer (Pacific Tool and Gage) and found out that they didn't have any instructions for it either. (Their device is a copy of someone else's). Searching the Internet, I found references to Guy Lautard's 3rd Bedside Reader, that supposedly has about 10 pages on that device. Unfortunately, that book has been out of print for many years and it is currently going for about $250 if you can find one!!! All that being said, does anyone on this forum have any documents on reamer stoning? (how to set angles and what should they be set to, type of stone, etc, etc) I have already reached out to Gre-Tan (another vendor that sells the device) but as yet have not received a reply.

Thanks
Earl
