PTG and walnut 40x

Anyone have experience with:
Can a walnut 40XB stock be inletted for use with a PT and G "flush" Remington box magazine set-up for AI mags. I just ordered one for a project and have not decided on a stock...but have a 40XB beater here that would do just fine for my taste, if it would work....

10 minutes in the milling machine will cure any issues.

I believe the footprint is the same as the M series Badger Ord DBM.
