PS magazine cover falling block

Doug Beach

Many years ago, somewhere between the mid ‘90s and the early oughts, PS magazine had a newly made falling block action on the cover. I don’t remember if it was a complete rifle or not. The action had been designed for some competitive purpose. It had a side lever, rather than an under lever.
Anyone have a picture, and / or any information?

It was a Hall......the Model F. I fondled one once. Super craftsmanship. Allan Hall quoted me $1,950 for one in about 2004-ish. :) -Al

I, like Al, got to handle one that Allen had at a match. It was like an expensive Swiss watch in quality. Allen, decided not to produce it however. I guess the expense of making it was too much for the market some 20 years ago. It came with a very nice light pull trigger.

A bit of trivia about that action. Although I can't recall the name of the owner, a BR gun based on that action won a registered IBS tournament in the eastern part of the country.
