Look at the Midway pro competitiom mat, they are on special this month I got mine for 66.00 ahipped. Seems to be decent for the money.

I like mine, except for one of the two straps that keep it rolled up came right out the third time I used it. The sole remaining strap is sufficient to keep it rolled up, but I need to have it fixed somehow. In all other respects it is superior to their smaller. Plus it's perpetually on sale for $50.

I have a camping pad purchased from Wal Mart for a few bucks. It works fine for match use and casual shooting in a field. It is just foam and won't protect against cacti, but I shoot in the east so it isn't a problem.

I've been using a Dillon shooting mat:

- since taking up high power in 2003, adding long range in 2005.

Broke one strap clip about 2006, fixed that myself last fall with new one's from Creedmore for about $6

+1 for the camping pad. I recently traveled to a match by plane and didn't want to pay extra for my fancy mat. A $30.00 foam mat from the local Cabelas worked at least as well or better and was light enough for the trip home.
