problems with NF scope

Hi

I have just recieved a NF NFX 8-32x56 with CH2 recticle.
It seems that something is wrong with the illumination of the recticle. Its only the dot and the vertical line in the cross hair that illuminates.
I have bought it from Lock, stock and barrels and I expect that they will fix it for me.
But I have a question for you with NF experience. When the illumination is off and I look into the scope, its almost impossible to see the crosshair, its like its not proberbly etched into the lense.
Is it supposed to be almost invisible or is that a failure too ??

.030moa is too small for a crosshair. The CH3 is the same way. I hated it.

They cant fix it. Sell it, get a CH1 which is perfect at .036moa

Lani, I have no experience with those CH. Both of my 12 X 42 NXS NF's have the DD reticle and it is really plain in both of them. When I turn on my illumination, all of my reticle lights up. Bill

I have the CH-3, and only the center dot is supposed to be lit up on it, but, if I turn the illumination dial up all the way, the left horizonal lights up slightly in toward the center. My crosshair is crisp and black. Are you sure you have the fast focus, for the reticle) on the eyepiece adjusted to your eye?

I am now having the illumination fixed under warrenty and at the same time I plan to get the reticle changed to another one. Maybe I should go for the CH1
