Good luck if it has side button release,I called Savage to no prevail, I spent a week on and off searching web and making phone calls,I called the guy I know that was about 50 miles from me and he had two new old stock magazines for the push button release box magazine,If you cannot find one I would be inclined to sell one magazineI have a long action 111 FCXP3 30-06 side mag release action and I am in need of a magazine or two. I should have removed this post. I ended up spending $200 on bottom metal with detachable mag. Used a little wood filler then painted the Boyds stock. Made a nice little rifle. I rechambered it to a 30-06 AI.Good luck if it has side button release,I called Savage to no prevail, I spent a week on and off searching web and making phone calls,I called the guy I know that was about 50 miles from me and he had two new old stock magazines for the push button release box magazine,If you cannot find one I would be inclined to sell one magazine

Hey Buckshot, any chance you still have that spare magazine? I recently inherited a savage 111 30-06 and it came without a magazine. It seems almost impossible to find.Good luck if it has side button release,I called Savage to no prevail, I spent a week on and off searching web and making phone calls,I called the guy I know that was about 50 miles from me and he had two new old stock magazines for the push button release box magazine,If you cannot find one I would be inclined to sell one magazine
