Problem converting 6.5 Lapua brass to 6x47 Lapua

I have a new set of Forester FL sizing dies for the 6x47 Lapua. Most everything I've read says just a simple one pass. Not the case for me.
When I start, the neck will size down good for about 1/4", then get stuck and push the whole neck down wrinkling the case. The cases are new Lapua and lubed well. Any ideas? Thanks

Howdy !

Do you have the " expander " stem/ball removed from the 6X47L die ?

Just curious....

if you have the expander ball backed out you are trying to size the neck and expand at the same time .that just won't work.

Thanks Preacher! I removed the expander completely and tried another case. It worked perfect! I'm no expert, but it looked to do a perfect job. I reinstalled the expander and ran it through just to see if I could expand the neck. That worked also. Just wondering, Do I need to seat a bullet now and take an outside neck measurement? To determine if I need to turn the necks?

With a bullet seated the neck measures .270. The PacNor chamber is supposed to be .274 for no turn necks. Looks like I should be ok.

I wasted money buying a Forster FL die to later discover the 6x47 Redding body bump die I already had did the perfect job!
