Probably won't make one wit of difference, but sent out 17 e-mails to the members of the California Assembly Appropriations Committee, who will hear four antigun bills on August 21. I focused on SB374, the worst (eliminates all semi-auto centerfires from the state over time). Considering there are 11 Democrats and six Republicans, this bill and the other three are all but certain to pass out of Committee. They have passed easily everywhere else they have been. But at least I feel better that I tried to effect change, however futile the effort may have been.
