I am looking to sell a T/C Omega. I've never shot it and I still have the box it came in.

If I have to ship it does this have to go from FFL dealer to FFL dealer?

No,you can mail it to anywhere except california,as they have weird laws.Check the batfe site to make sure but I mailed one from me to a fbi agent direct with no problems.

My ffl that i use will not accept a firearm from an individual only from another ffl. The sale consists of charges on both ends. A lot of guys try to cut out the first ffl and ship from themselves to a ffl if the receiving ffl accepts from an individual.

Here is a link to the ATF Frequently Asked Questions that should answer your question. Bottom line, you can ship to someone in state without using an FFL. To ship to someone out of state, you need to ship to an FFL in that state and the FFL will transfer the firearm to the buyer. From the perspective of law, an FFL can accept firearms from an individual but many FFL's choose to only accept firearms from another FFL.

You CAN as an individual ship to a FFL in California. Anyone who would tell you different needs to educate themselves on what they think they know about the gun laws here.
