Private Message Notification

Other forums I am on will send you an email when you receive a Private Message. I can not find anything in the settings for this forum where I can make that happen. Am I just missing it or is that not possible here?

It will do it i assure you. My inbox reaches its wits end with them

In the upper right of your screen it says "INBOX". If you receive a PM, a red marker will be just below it

I think it’s automatic to the e-mail address you provided when you signed up.
I may be wrong of course, this wouldn’t be the first time.

Click on your user name top center, click preferences, you'll see receive an e-mail. Mike

Select your profile name on the top bar and select "Contact Details"



2. Check the checkbox -> "Receive an email when a new conversation message is received" in the Messaging Preferences section.

3. Verify the email address at the top of the details page

4. Save changes

Thank you all but especially newbieshooter. Since I am technologically challenged I appreciate the step by step instructions with pictures. That appears to be the problem. Amazing what one little check mark will accomplish.

Nice job guys. As always the best site to ask for and receive help. Now here`s one,where did I put the tv remote? I`m currently interrogating my cocker. He seems to be acting shy near the tv. I`ll let you know.

maybe that's 'cuz he wants you to watch less tv and walk him more often.

The "watch thread" link at the top right of all threads gives options also.
Idk if this works if box isn't checked it preferences ..
