Priming Problem

the SPUD is smaller in dia than a std primer so it enters and aligns. it is the radius before the end that actually swages.

Operator training, alignment, sufficently talented fool?
It is possible to produce results outside the design envelope.
Swager is a great tool. I continue to use mine.

I would like to clarify that the sliver pushed in was a rare event. It did in fact happen though by whatever cause or ineptitude on my part. Often enough that I look at every one, Every time.
Trust but verify.
