Primer Pocket Uniforming Tool

What tool are you using for this operation? Will be using it for large rifle pockets. I am wanting to add this step into my brass prep

I have looked at the Possum Hollow one, the Holland one, and the RCBS case trim mate carbide one

Sinclair in an 18V Dewalt. Use the drill for neck turning too. Use the drill for annealing as well. The Sinclair case holders are pretty useful things to do those as well. To summarise use Sinclair and Dewalt. :D

I like the Sinclair adjustable uniformer. The units that have no adjustment don't seem to get down to the right depth for me.

Looks like the Sinclair and Redding are basically the same thing. I didn't see anything on Sinclair's website that mentions an adjustable uniformer.

I just don't see any advantage of a adjustable primer pocket uniformer, and I've never seen one..
You only need to cut to one depth on any primer pocket...

I got the K&M tools, almost all of them :)

top quality, even better than the Sinclair tools I got.

If you uniform primer pockets by hand w/o power the Whitetail is excellent, it's set @ .001" below SAAMI specs, and very well made.

Evidently, Sinclair no longer makes the adjustable primer pocket uniformer that I bought from them several years ago, but Benchrite does make the same tool just with a blue handle instead of a green handle like is on the Sinclair model. Sometimes things actually exist that you haven't seen, imagine that.

Benchrite adjustable primer pocket uniformer.

Now if they only made one that will do Large rifle's like the OP asked about it would be good..

K&M makes one for large rifle that can be used in a power drill, and they also make handles for it for those that like to do things manually.

It's a muscle job..

Just remember to pull out after a couple rounds every time, when the primer pocket is shiny and you get no debris you are done.. Might take 1 turn and might take 10... Differs between cases
