Primer Brand Recommendations

Sorry for being a novice but what brand do you guys recommend, CCI Match or Federal Match?

Lee,

A lot of us here prefer the CCI Magnum primers. Seems with the magnums we can lower our extreme spreads,mine dropped into the single digits with just this switch from BR primers). Also we like CCI because they have a stronger cup,less chance of pierced primers).
However right now it comes down to what you can actually find in some cases. Primers are scarce these days.

A lot of folks are using the Wolf russian primers as soon as they see what they will do.....

When testing loads, part of the testing equation are primers. They also are barrel sensitive. Try them all, one will perform better than others. At the range last week, suppliers were telling me they are starting to get orders of primers, soooooooo.....

In this day and age beggars can not be choosy, you'll be lucky you can find anything to use..small rifle match primers are almost non-existant in my area and have been for awhile...GOOD LUCK, if you find a larger amount, call me.. I know lots of fellow shooters who are in need..
