price help on Mark V Weatherby in 7 mm Weatherby Magnum caliber

Can you give me your fair buyer/seller price on a genuninely pristine Southgate 7 mm Weatherby Magnum. Bought in the 80s and present owner never fired it. In addition, what is a fair price on factory ammo for this rifle in either 139 grn or 154 grn! Thanks, Tom

I can tell you what I do. I google "a gun" and spend a half hour scanning what they are SELLING for. Gunbroker, guns America, etc. Be careful in gathering the info. Some higher prices are being sought by "dreamers" or dealers that think they have the best gun in the world. Those guns keep rotating through the sale period of 7-14 days, over and over and over. I looked at Weatherby Mark Vs a week ago. $785.00 to $1200.00 was the norm. Various condition and caliber. Some "beauties" we're up to $2500. Good luck.

Depends on model. Like i.e. Lazer mark,deluxe ect Condition. Wood quality. I had a lazer mark in 7WM with incredible English walnut. I sold it to cabelas for 1700.00. So model,condition and wood quality will bump up the price. Shop them at guns international and gun broker. Look at them and judge how nice to the price. You will get the hang of it.
