Savage 12 VLP 204 Ruger Varmint Rifle. The barrel is a Shilen Select Match Grade with a 1-10 twist optimized for 40 grain bullets. It will also shoot the 32 grain as good as the normal 1-12 twist barrels. The barrel is bead blasted and threaded 5/8-24 for breaks and suppressors. I bought the barrel, and precision recoil lug and nut from Northland Shooters. The Factory laminated stock is bedded with Devcon 10-110. The stock has a couple minor dings, stock tape on the rear for sliding in a rear bag. The 1/4" hole in the stock bottom was used for a handstop when shooting prone. Has a double stack internal 5 round magazine. Selling my back up Prairie Dog rifle. Target is 100 yard bullet seating test.
