You should try a guilt trip on her. Tell her that the toy'll help you through the trials and tribulations of Chemo. Actually, I fired My minister of NO Fun about ten years ago but maybe that is a bit drastic for most folks.
By the way, what does "Doze a Greenie" mean? I assume it's an OZ thing.

We have some radical green groups and animal libbers like you do over the pond.
They claim they are consevationalists but they never leave the city unless its for some political stunt. they do no actual conservation- most sit around in the cafe area drinking latte and crapping on.
Some of them even belive in violence to gain their aims- that makes them terrorists in my mind. Bombing of poltry farms, contaminating live sheep exports to muslim countries with water laced with pork- causing about 20 families in one district to go out of business. their response to those families having to seel up and go on welfare- It's the farmers fault for being cruel to the animals.
They have no idea about real and practical conservation/ sustainable use of natural resources. Just absolute fruitcakes.
"Doze a greenie" is the only use that some people think they will do any good- as fertilizer.
our mountain areas have been closed off to summer grazing for the last few years. now with the heat the bushfires have come and the grass is 4-6 feet high and it's turning into wildfires.
3 people have dies because of these fires. one of them a 12 year old boy.
There resposnse to claims that the greenies stopping summer grazing that has been going on for a 150 years- has made the fires much much worse- it's how nature intended it and if those people died so be it.
Sorry didn't mean to rant but these people have been responsible for millions of $$ lost income to farmers. Directly resultant in 2 suicides of farmers that I know personally and are linked to your PETA and the really radical ones like animal front etc etc.
Groups listed as terrorists or terrorist sympathizers/money collectors- and they still get subsidised by the AU govt for heaps of $$ while legitimate shooters are constantly being kicked in the teeth or worse.
Rant off.
Trying the sob approach for getting my toys- if that doesn't work Ill have to work out another way of getting them

Back on the subject[Predator receivers] I received 2 magnum repeaters. I am in the shop now chambering a #5 300 SAUM. I have all the components except the bottom metal and follower. My only complaint is the bolt knob. Too small and it needs to be round. The receivers are well made and very smooth.
