Precision Woodcrafting stock

In my quest for a suitable stock with out having an odious wait time, I came across precision wood crafting stocks.

I spoke with the owner I believe. Real nice guy. But I have some questions.

(1)Anyone have any experience with his stocks? I see some rimfire guys using them. Any centerfire shooters?

(2) the stocks are made of dymalux. Read about it a little bit. Any advantage/disadvantage over fiberglass, or other woods?

Visited Stillers old shop today. Jerry was there as well as Randy Owen (PWC) Rotex stocks, Dan Killough, and Dan's son. I have one of Randy's stocks and I have a piece of Australian Walnut with him for another. He is so busy with rim fire stocks, I don't know if he is interested in any other type stocks. You would need to visit with him on it. I believe the dymalux is way to heavy for a 13.5 rifle. The quality of his work is just outstanding. For a rimfire it comes bedded and finished. You just bolt your barreled action in and shoot.

Hey butch, thanks for the reply. This is just for a 30br fun gun. No comps. I spoke with him a week or so ago, and he seemed willing, so maybe I’ll give him a call back this week and pursue that avenue for a stock. I have never held one, but looked at about 500 on his Facebook page and they look really nice. I think he said a lead time of 3-4 months which is pretty darn good. He’s just need the action in hand.
