DASHER DOME
Wind was whipping Friday as the temps warmed from 20's that morning to 50 in the afternoon. Preacher, Anthony Hale, was shooting a Tod Sobey Bast S Dasher with 103 Vapor Trails. He started at 800 yd getting on plate. Then he took a couple of shots to zero and get the wind dialed in, hitting Ole Chuckie in the neck. We had a egg hanging and Preacher decided to go for it. The egg may have still been frozen as it vaporized. A black spot on plate directly behind where the egg had been was all that was left.
Next we gorilla glued a red quarter to the plate and let in dry. First shot made a black spot one inch from the quarter. Three or four shots later the quarter was gone. We went to retrieve and found the quarter. Not a direct hit. Shrapnel had knocked the quarter off the plate.
