Pre-accutrigger spring question

I have been working on the trigger on an older Savage and got it working well. The only problem now is the heavy trigger spring, even with it adjusted all the way out it's still really heavy. Does anyone make a lighter version of this spring? I think if I got that fixed the trigger would be great.

Thanks.

The older Savage pre-accu trigger used a wire return spring. Many people have made their own springs out of .040 music wire. Go to www.Savageshooters.com you will find a ton of information on the rifle, and modifications for the rifle. On that site if you get ahold of a member by the name of 243shooter, he was giving away spring steal .041 wire, to make replacement springs with.
