Pre 66 savage 110 assembly

Finally got around to cleaning up a rusty old pre 66 action and removing rust to cerakote and get working again. Putting it all back together and thinking I have the box magazine put back together correctly. I find this little clip of some sort and cannot figure out where it goes. First of all does this assembly look correct? And anyone know where this little clip goes? Thanks in advance.

Could it possibly be part number 53, Which is part of a tang safety it looks like.

I have been a customer of theirs for a very long time and their drawings have been indispensable many many times to help figure something out or to order parts from. Hope they have many many more years in the parts business. I have some of the old catalogs going way back with the drawings in them also.
