SOLD Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 hornet bolt

A pre 64 Winchester Model 70 hornet transition Type II bolt. As you can see, Bubba had his way with the bottom of the bolt body. Why anyone would file a flat in it is anybody's guess but there it is. I would think the bolt is serviceable as is and could perhaps could be repaired. Even so, the included parts are pricey when you try to find them, complete firing pin assembly, bolt shroud with a clam shell safety, etc. $200 to your door.

The flat was made so that it would work on a Win. 54 action, where the front of the trigger serves as the bolt stop. Doesn't matter when used on a M70 action.
