Prairie Dog Hunting

Bob,

Most people I know ship their guns and ammo out to the location and then fly. Cant imagine driving 1,900 miles for anything. Personally I fly to Garden City, rent a truck and drive the remaining hour or so. I can fly out of Virginia at 6:00 AM and be on the ranchers door step by lunch time... same day. Heck I'm shooting before I even take my luggage to the hotel Why spend half your trip in the car driving when you can be shooting ;D

Good Luck

Take as much ammo as you can pack. You will always bring home whatever you don't use and save for the next trip. I take 1,000 rounds per gun. Have never used it all, but feel secure that I'll never come up short.
