Powder measure press adapter?

Trying to adapt my Lee Deluxe powder measure (the cast iron version) to my Lee Pro 1000 press, so I can load 223

I can use the Lee charging die, but would need a 5/8-18 to 7/8-14 adapter, which I can't find.

The other option is using a die with a floating funnel or sleeve to guide the powder into the case that I could screw the measure directly into, but I can't find anything like that either.

The measure has a tapered mouth, so I could technically screw it right into the press, but there would be VERY little margin for error between leaking powder or crushing case mouths, so I need something with a floating sleeve inside.

Thoughts?

Many hours of googling later, I think I have a game plan.

Screw this to the powder measure (7/8-14 to 5/8-18 adapter):

(I got mine for $6.59, it was the last one in stock from that source, but said more on the way, so if you want to try this project, wait a little bit and see if they come back @ the cheaper price)

Then screw this into the bottom of the adapter (5/8-18 brass nipple):

Then screw the assembly into the lee charging die.

If all my rough guesses are correct, this SHOULD work. I went with the long die for 223, could have gone w/ the short (223 is at the long end of the short and the short end of the long), but was worried the floating sleeve might bottom out on the brass nipple. Only concern is that it might sit up quite a ways off the press, but that probably won't really hurt anything. Will probably have to fabricate a plastic piece to go b/w the measure and adapter since the measure has a concave face and the adapter has a flat face, either that or see if I can countersink the inside of the adapter.

Will post back when I get a chance to play with everything. Really surprised something like this isn't commercially available, it'd be a snap to run off on a CNC.
