Powder funnel

Looking to get opinions on powder funnels.
Requirements.
Clear, see through.
8-10 inch drop tube.
Fits well.
22 caliber, 24 caliber.

Picked up a set of Precision Hardcore funnels. Wouldn't fit the necks of a couple of Wildcat cases. Asked about them custom machining (for a fee) to fit my cases? Couldn't be bothered!! Sent them back and told them to BITE ME!!
Tried Hart, they bent over backwards to get their funnels to fit MY needs. :cool: FIRST CLASS SERVICE at NO EXTRA CHARGE!!
No hesitation with spending $$$ to get what I want/need. ;);)

If you don't need a drop tube, Saturn funnels are light enough to sit on top of your brass and fit very well. Easy to work with and has no static stick.

21st Century aluminum funnel clear drop tubes' and has different adapters for different cartridges.

I had a couple of these and the brass part worked loose rendering them scrap metal. Went back to the plastic units.

I've had a couple of my Satern powder funnels have the brass piece come loose before but like you mentioned a dab of glue and presto, easy peasy, is all it took to fix the problem.

I have some Precision Hardcore powder funnels too and they're prettier and fancier then the Satern's but the actual funnel part is considerably smaller and they cost twice as much.

I had the same response from PH when I asked about I 9.3 funnel. Said they had too much trouble keeping up with current products. I'll move on to another brand as I sure wouldn't want to be a bother to them. These look good,

Like I had said earlier, I don't mind spending MY hard earned $$$$ to get what "I" want and, if a Company can't be bothered to get me what I ask for, (FOR A FEE) I damn sure don't need to spend my $$$$ with THEM!!
There's LOTS of other folks out there doing backflips to get your business. And when you find one that will get you what you want/need, don't be afraid to let other folks know. ;);)
 
My latest Satern funnel is for 6.5 and it sucks. It has horizontal ridges all around the body and it causes powder to hang up on it. It's a bad design.

Satern Powder Funnel

Does anyone else think the newer Satern powder funnels, with the more pronounced ridges, are not as good as the older ones? Those ridges seem to hang on to a kernel or two. That never seemed to happen with my older ones.

Don't give up on it. Use it until you start to get that residue that seems to slick em up. I had same issue at first with new Saturn Funnels but my 6.5 manbun and 223 work flawlessly after a little use. YMMV.
I am not home to check my funnels but I see the major rib difference in the photos you quoted.
Ribbed but not for our pleasure I will agree.
