Powder for 270w 22”barrel with 140gr

I would kind of like to shoot my dads rem 7600 in 270 for deer this season. It has a 22” barrel, i have been loading 270 for a while, and have a fairly good selection of the standbys for it. H414, imr 4350, imr and h4831, a few more. Rl 16 and 17 (no rl19) magpro and rl 26(probably slower than ideal)
However I have Never messed with 140g bullets in it. What powder would you start with? Looking for minute of deer out to 300 yds, certainly not bench rest accuracy, with the least amount of componants burned.

I’ve used H4831 successfully. About any of them would do. Maybe whichever one you have the most of

58g H4831, and the accuracy is fantastic in mine with CCI 250 primers in Win brass, seat the bullets out near the lands. Work up to this load, start at 56g.

I guess I will have to try h4831 then. Got a few fun projects I can finally get to now that work is slowing down just a bit. Ill try to get some runds loaded up to maybe try next week, Ill post results when I do in hopes it may help someone else.

RL 26 should get you the highest MV of the powders you listed. Works great with the heavier 270 bullets. Work up to about 62 grains max. Can be very accurate.
