Powder for 10.5" 6.5 grendel

Hay y'all ,so big thank you for all the advice on my post about shoulder bumping , but I have another. So I got a AR pistol in 6.5 grendel with a lil 10.5 barrel. Well it's a little goal of mine to get it to shoot 1moa or less @100yd. Just a fun thing , more then anything. Was looking for recommendations for a powder that would be the most optimal out of a pistol length AR in 6.5 grendel. Was doing decent with Varget and 123gr pills but I'm about out and I don't think it was burning completely anyway. I got two boxes of 90gr TNT's to try next so any suggestions ?

My memory is foggy but I remember that somebody here shoots one with an 8 1/2 inch barrel. Pops hogs to 300 with it. Hope he sees this!

Question: What happens when you put a 10.5” barrel on a rifle lower? I don’t know the law. I’ve read some but I’m not clear on it. Is it legal?

short answer is no, at least not without filling out the ATF Form 1, paying the $200 tax then waiting to receive the paperwork back from the ATF.

Lots of suggestions for benchmark so reckon I'll keep an eye out for a jug. But I'm curious what's so good about it for my application? Burn rate ?

Burn rate right next to 335 on one of the burn rate charts, but slower than 3031 on the same chart. 335 would probably work too if you don't mind getting blinded by the fireball!!!. I suggested Benchmark because of the burning rate and 3/4" groups@100yds W/TNT bullet out of my Grendel, if I do my part

I'd try the ones H335 and faster in burn rate. That short of a barrel faster burn rate powders will help.

I have the same experience. I haven't been able to try any other powders yet but this gives me moa @ 100yds. I killed a little 8pt with it last Thursday.

N-120, Reloder 7 should burn completely and work well with the 90 gr
