Polishing inside of a factory barrel?

I have 2 Remingtons rifles with factory barrels and another with a Shilen pre-fit-short chambered match barrel,by Brownells) installed.
They are accurate, no problem. But they cooper a lot. After only 25 shots the lands are orange by the cooper. I use Hoppes Benchrest everyday for 4 to 5 days overnight to get them clean of cooper. I use Sierra Matchkings bullets on them.
My question is: on factory barrels could I use some polishing compound to make them "attract" less cooper fouling?
If the answer is yes, which product? At what grit the factory barrels are finished? And what grit are JB Bore Brite or the JB Cleaning Compound, Iosso Cleaner, Flitz,a friends use it to polish the interior of the barrel...) etc?

Thank you very much for any help on this, as I spend more time cleaning than shooting!

PS - I live in Brazil and we do not have more powerful and specialized solvents like 50BMG by TM, or Sweets for example.

I use Tubbs Final Finish, premade fire-lapping bullets) on my factory barrel per the directions that come with it. It works great.

I took a look at Tubb's Final Finish. It looked very nice, I think it polishes at 1200 grit. The problem is that it IS A BULLET, so I is very hard to import it to Brazil...

I agree this may be the more pratical way to polish the barrel. What kind of improvement you had with it? Less cooper fouling? Smaller groups?

Nice link. Yes it looks like it works. I wish I could have some of Tubb's Final Finish...

I did a break in when I bought the rifles. But I am considering doing another break in with carefully and intense cleaning and brushing between shots.

You can make your own final finish type bullets by coating them in lapping compound like you are applying moly. I'm not sure what grit to use but around 1200 seems about right.

HI
Is the barrel Stainless steel??
Are you in a position to get the barrel removed from the action??
If yes to both counts then all you need to find is someone who does electropolishing.
Most medical instruments are electropolished.
electro polishing of stainless closes over a lot of the microscopic pores in the steel making a much smoother finish to the metal.
It doesn't change the bore to any measurable size either.

I just read on Accurizing The Factory Rifle,M.L. McPherson), that most custom barrels are usually polished to 320 grit.
He uses NECO fire lapping kit. It start with 8 shots of 220 grit. Then 10 shots of 400 grit, aprox. 12 shots of 800 grit and last, 15 shots of 1200 grit.
I read too that JB is about 1200 grit,I think it is the JB Bore Brite not the Cleaning Compound).

If this information is correct, there are lots of room for improvement when lapping a factory barrel.
Now I would like to know the grit of Flitz as a friend uses it inside his barrel to lap it!

Unfortunately my barrel is CM.
