polishing annodized aluminum rings?

I have a Winchester Super grade, that has some beautiful deep glossy bluing on it, I ordered a Leupold Glossy scope to put atop it.

I really like the Talley one piece aluminum rings, have them on all my rifles. They are annodized darkblue/black . is there any way you can polish those up or will it simply wear on the annodizing?

Thanks

Patrick

Once anodized, you get what is there. Trying to polish the finish to a gloss appearance will start to remove the anodizing. You might try spraying a clear cote finish on them.

Thanks, anyone know of some highly polished steel one piece rings that are like talley aluminum ones ?

I really don't want 2piece rings, where I have to mount bases.

Thanks

I went with Conetrol, they are not one piece, but I heard nothing but good about them from some guys who on them. Thoughts On these?

I have a set of Conetrol high gloss rings on a Kleingunther K-15 that I've had for over 30 years and still love them. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I know, but I think they are the best looking rings made. They are easy to adjust for windage and have never needed resetting.
