POI changes as barrel warms up - need advice

Add 0.2gr of Varget to your load and see what happens.

Maybe the load is at the edge of the node and comes into the node once things get more heat in them and help generate that little bit more pressure.
I was thinking the same thing.

“I am consistently seeing the 2 sighters go 4-6" away from each other, usually in opposite directions such as first one low to the right then the second one hight to the left.“

Did you see this? I don’t think that barely missing the node is going to make for 1.5 to 2 MOA and scattered that way.

I did not catch the distance. Agreed. From bugholes to blunderbuss isn't explained by the node.

Well, with all due respect. Could it just be you? I remember when I got my first 7MM Mag. Like you, every time I went to the range it would take me 3-5 shots, for me to settle down.

If it isn't a barrel problem, and you've tried everything else....take the action out, replace.Fire a 3 shot group. Now,repeat this a few times.See if there's any consistency or patterns.Just a hunch, there might be something in the bedding and/or the bolt up process?
