pmc brass

I have a lot of pmc 6.5x55 pmc brass and would like to here from others that have had experience with it. I also have some sellier&bellot brass that I picked up cheep does it have any use for reloading?

If it shot OK when you shot it the first time there is no reason not to use it. Measure the neck wall thickness. If it varies more than .001" you might consider outside neck turning to about 60-80% to even it out a bit. Even if you don't it should work pretty well. Since you already have it, make use of it.

the brass was good, but (there's that word) in the 223 cases we have, it was 2 grs. less powder to keep pressures down. must be thicker, didn't weigh cases, just didn't use them mixed with other brands. good luck, tom.

I've been shooting PMC in the 22-250AI for about 20yrs and like it very much. In .257Wby it's stronger than anything else and there's nothing better. I'd use it in .243AI but the web is a bit large for my very tight chamber. A friend shot benchrest for years with brass made from 7.62x39 PMC and did well. I think PMC is really good brass but it hasn't been available for several years. You have it, so what else is there to do but use it and see how the stuff works for you.
