This is a great method. I have never used the transparencies and magnets, but have used graph paper to do virtually the same thing.

I've done the US-style plotting (that I picked up in NRA HP Service Rifle) off-n-on over the years. Never really had a good explanation of the Canadian style of doing things with the Plot-O-Matic; its a lot clearer now.
