Please Help save Shippensburgs Ground Hog Shoots

Lets start a letter writing campaign. Nothing fancy or derogatory just a request that the B.O.D. reconsider their position on canceling the 2012 shoots because you were planning on attending some at Shippensburg this year. It will only take a few minutes and the cost of a stamp. Or if you would prefer send an email. If enough voices are heard it may sway the B.O.D. to reconsider their position.

I have been a fan of Shippenburgs since i started shooting and i felt so sad when i heard this news. will definitely do my own efforts to try to save this. I will send my email as soon as I can. do hope they change their mind regarding this and that they may reconsider things. keep me posted!

I was told by the club president that, and I quote:
"The Board of Directors thought that it was in the best interest of the majority of the members of the club to discontinue the matches at the present time"
This is the only explanation that I was given in response to my email to the Club President. If I had to guess I would say there perhaps were personality conflicts involved. Again that is only my guess so don't take it as gospel.

An explanation like that sounds like our politicians. Is he really acting on what the "majority" of members are saying, or is there another agenda? Just like our politicians.......
