Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’m looking to find the torque specs for the action on the CZ 457 American. Please let me know. Thanks, Bill.

If a wooden stock then max of 30"lb. That is inch pounds (in/lbs)!
Do not use an automotive torque wrench (ft/lbs).
Most folks start at about 15"lb - 20"lb and if the rifle shoots fine then stop right there.
I had mine in an Oryx chassis and stopped at 25"lb.
They are fairly small wee bolts and would strip out easily if you go too hard on them.

15 inch-pounds is the proper starting point. On most of my rimfires in a wooden stock, the best node is found at about 18-22 inch-pounds.
