pistols and coated lead

any difference between the various manufacturers? or are the coatings all the same?
trying to keep leading to a minimum

thanks

Bayou Bullets (molly coated)
Black Bullets (molly coated... as I recall they buys coating from Bayou Bullets)

I started powder coating my cast bullets with GREAT success! Check them out. I use zombie green for my 45's and cool shade of blue for my 9's. My kids love them ; ) No more messy lubes and no leading after hundreds of rounds fired.

ok, since i have a lb of n320, i asked VV about lead load data, none on thier website
this was the reply, is it normal?

If you are going to be loading cast lead or powder coated lead bullets. Us the load data for " COPPER PLATED" , BERRYS , H&N , LSWC , RANIER , ETC. Copper plated and cast lead bullets use the same load data .

Bass pro has all the Berrys bullets. Got a box in Dania FL and the gun guy was adding more to the shelf while I was there, they had several calibers in Port Saint Lucie FL at the Bass pro there.
