Where is all the pistol powder at. Pretty much all of the rifle powders in stock somewhere or coming in daily now. It doesn't make any sense it takes more rifle powder to load rounds up than pistol rounds. 24-50 grs for rifle and 3-6 grs for pistol. Thats about 200-300 rounds for rifle and 1000-1400 pistol rounds.

Very scarce, these days, but the good news is when you find it, a pound goes a long way. I found unique at Cabelas, Online, a while ago. Found a pound of Bullseye at one of their local stores about a month ago. Good luck.

Shot gun powder isn't much better.

It sounds like single base powders are more available than double base powders. Is that relevant?

Pistol is really not my thing. I do have a Glock G35 , but I only shoot about about 300 rounds a year max. I would have to say at my gun club the action and target pistol shooters out number the long gun guys by about 4 to 1 ? So you have a lot more shooters reloading pistol vs. rifle. Pistol powder is still slightly hard to find out my way, however i'm seeing there is a good supply of Titegroup, and Longshot. Heck I even saw a few 8# jugs of Titegroup at my LGS. So pistol just seems to be lagging behind rifle powders as far as making a comeback.. It's kinda strange, i've seen a consistiant supply of pistol primers, but the powder is scarce. You would think that powder and primers would follow each other as far as availibility. Makes me think there is some other type of indirect demand for pistol powder ?
