Pistol on Rifle action??

Just curious ive heard it both ways,Can one make a pistol on a rifle action,Im told barrel needs to be 16 inches long and over all gun has to be at least 26 inches to be legal,Ive always thought a rifle action was just that.Your thoughts would be most appreciated.

I would say that you could run into trouble if some police, justice dept or ATF agent, etc had a reason to really look at your pistol and the serial number and model discription indicate it is a rifle, but has 15" bbl or is < 26' overall.

The action has to come from the factory and registared as a pistol. After that it can be used as a pistol or rifle. If it comes from the factory as a rifle and is regesterd as a rifle it cannot be used as a pistol. Stupid I know but that's your guverment at work.......

XP 100 Can be made to a pistol or fifle.
