pillar bedding rem 700 bdl

Is it necessary to angle the back pillar on a rem bdl the trigger guard slopes forward on the back pillar and if it is better to have the pillars with a radius to match the bottom of the receiver or jus make them flat so they only have basically only have contact on the center line of the pillars ? is their pros and cons doing it both ways? I have used the angled ones that come in a kit from a vender and the are radiused on top. I could just buy the stock and make my own! Please any one with experience doing them I would very much like your input. Thanks Ron

never seen the slope youre talking about. all my pillars are milled flush with the bottom of the stock and both trigger guard screws go straight in. you couldnt stack the ones ive did in this room and ive yet to see the screw go in at an angle. and I radius the top most of the time, sometimes I mill em where they have the 2 small points sticking up and are mostly under the bedding. either way is fine.
