Pillar bedding a CZ 527

Hi guys,
Getting a CZ 527 221 fireball. I have my devcon, and purchased a set of pillars from some guy on eBay specificaly for the 527. The set looks nice othere then being smooth. I will cut some grooves in the pillars cut to the proper length..bla, bla, bla..
I haven't gotten the rifle yet but have been looking at pics on line of other bedding jobs for this particular rifle..
my question is..is there even enough room in the stock to drill for a set of pillars..looks kind of tight..like say the front pillar..after drilling it looks as if the pillar will be vertically out of the stock and into the mag well with no wood left in the back sounding it..
Any tips, or steps I should be considering ..I've got quite a few successful bedding jobs under my belt..not saying I don't make mistakes..I'm always trying to learn..i follow Mr. Richard Franklin steps on his DVD and it seems to work out good for me..i have no mill or lathe..so any suggestions please take that into account.
Thank you guys
I look forward to your suggestions

It is very tight, I use the same size that comes with the gun from the factory thats in the rear.

I used steel ferrules (a la Mauser rear) from Brownells. Plenty strong for the calibers of this action. Bed the rest of the action and you are good to go. I usually do not bed any part of the barrel shank but bearing in mind the small action/barrel threads of the 527 I did put a pad about 3/4" wide under the shank of a heavy Douglas barrel just forward of the receiver face.

By the pics I've seen on Google images, it looks as though CZ uses a roll pin for the factory rear pillar..am I correct on that..is the factory rear pillar glued in of just taped in place..can it be easily pushed out of the stock or will it need drilled out
