Nice looking rig, only one issue, bolt on the wrong side ;D. Where do you shoot over there? Do you shoot with Dave Goodridge? Nice barrel block as well. looks like a space between block and barrel, is that for bedding? What bullet are you shooting? Have you tried Sierra 142 MK? Good luck.

JCS- if your in Australia yes I can. PM address

Mike- I have been in contact with Dave over the last few days about starting 1000yd BR at our F class club. I will be shooting F Open with it mainly. We are on the other side of Australia in Busselton, Western Australia. If the 1000yd BR gets off the ground we will be the only club offering it on this side of the country. I have only ran the barrel in and shot a couple of 10 shot groups at 500 meters with it and that was with 120gr SMK's. I will try the 142's if I cant get the berger VLD and hybrids to work well. The bergers are better ballistically and in price here but the 142 sierra is the next choice along with the 139 lapua.

I have shot a lot of 6.5mm, 8 different cartilages, the 139 Lapua's have not shot that well for me. If you have a tight barrel they seem to work. The 142 (sorted) I have found out shoot the Berger 140s. I never got the 140 SMK or the 140 AMAX to shoot in anything. I like Berger and use the 210 Berger's in my 300 WSM with great success. My 260 likes IMR4064 and H4831sc. good luck with the 1000yd BR. Dave and I/Va. 1000yd. Club have the Postal match going between out clubs. Check it out.

Mike- yes that is a potential happening. Our main trouble is we shoot on electronic targets. Im waiting on the target definitions to be made up so it can happen. It will probably be more of a social thing, but nothing wrong with that- any time behind a trigger is a good time.

Will take a look at the sierras if the 140 vlds and hybrids dont work out.
