Piedmont IBS 600: Match 2, results 3-11-23

It was a tough “March Winds” day at Piedmont today. Switching headwinds, and mirage to deal with from the time we started until the final shot. No one completely dominated this match. With 30 LG shooters, Reggie Wilson came out with the LG Overall win. 22 shooter stayed for HG in the afternoon. Mark Thompson came out with the Overall in HG. Scott Walker had his HG dialed in and layed down some great groups to help give him the 2-Gun Overall for the day. Great shooting guys! More detailed results below.

I was there yesterday spectating. I have never been to match of any kind before. I loved it! Thanks to all who took the time to help me understand the process. A little nervous about it but I hope to shoot a match some time soon.

Glad I went the other way towards 108 and didn’t meet the man, I was already nervous enough. Happy that my gun and load showed me it was capable of 3 shots into 1.3” , disappointed that I can’t tell the difference in all the kind of wind we had that day.If I hadn’t missed the head wind and tail winds on 4 and 5 I would of had a nice group for once.
